Behavioral Health and Wellness Program
BHWP offers free behavioral health and wellness support services for students and staff members. This includes Bureau Operated Schools, Tribally Controlled Schools, Navajo Schools, post-secondary entities, Tribal Colleges and Universities, and other programs and departments.

The Behavioral Health and Wellness Program provides evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally relevant behavioral health and wellness services to students and staff members. This includes Bureau Operated Schools, Tribally Controlled Schools, Navajo Schools, post-secondary entities, Tribal Colleges and Universities, and other programs and departments.
BHWP Services
Immediate Individual Crisis Support:
The BHWP 24/7 Call Line provides users with two options. Option 1 will connect the caller to Immediate Individual Crisis Support from a trained counselor. Dial 1-844-ASK-BHWP (1-844-275-2497) and select Option 1 to get started.
Virtual Counseling:
The BHWP 24/7 Call Line, Option 2 will connect the caller to the Care Coordinator, who will initiate the Virtual Counseling Services process for the caller. Dial 1-844-ASK-BHWP (1-844-275-2497) and select Option 2 to get started.
On-site and/or Virtual Crisis Support:
BHWP provides a timely, 48-hour post-event response. BHWP provides individualized school or program support and follows a short-term recovery model, offering extra support after an emergency.
